It started with a Love for Scents. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful scents.
Growing up in Africa, I developed an appreciation for the little things that make a space feel warm, inviting, and unforgettable. Fragrance has always had a way of creating a feeling for me—a memory, a mood, a moment.
My love for candles began when I was young, and over the years, that love grew into something much bigger.
Then came Aruba! There was something about the islands that stayed with me. The warmth. The ocean. The slower pace. The feeling that you didn’t always have to rush to the next thing. You could simply be!
That feeling became the inspiration behind AMAVABRI.

AMAVABRI was created around the idea that your everyday moments deserve to feel a little more special.
A slow morning. A candle burning while you get ready. A glass of something cold on a beautiful coaster. A freshly trimmed wick before settling into the evening.

I wanted AMAVABRI to be more than something you light. I wanted it to be an experience.
That’s why every detail has been intentional—from the fragrance and vessel to the accessories that become part of the ritual.
The wick trimmer and snuffer aren’t just beautiful pieces sitting beside your candle. They’re part of caring for it.

As a Black woman creating a luxury brand of my own, building AMAVABRI means something deeply personal to me. I wanted to create something that felt like me—beautiful, intentional, feminine, elevated, and unapologetically luxurious.
Something I would want in my own home. Something I would be proud to place on a table, give as a gift, or light at the end of a long day.
And most importantly, something that reminds you that luxury doesn’t always have to be reserved for special occasions.
